Contrasting Confessions – Judah and Jeremiah

Speaker:
Passage: Jeremiah 14:1-12; Lamentations 3:1-44
Service Type:
  • Speaker: Bryant Bailles
  • Summary: The enslaving power of sin often causes us to become stuck in cycles of repeating the same sinful decisions and actions again and again. At times, we may confess our sin, but still continue to regress back into the same cycle because we are not digging into the deeper roots of sin. In this lesson, we examine a time in Israel’s history when God was exposing the way to break free from sin’s hold.
  • Passages: Jeremiah 14:1-12; Lamentations 3:1-44
